IRAN SANCTIONS-CUSTOMER STATEMENT TEMPLATE

Comprehensive sanctions programmes have been in force against lran,with enhanced measures over the recent years,to persuade lran from developing its disputed unclear program.

Many of these sanctions are targeted at the nuclear, petroleum, banking and insurance industries, also against individuals, organizations and companies that have been identified by the United Nations, European Union, United States,Canada and Australia.,among others.

Following the conclusion of an agreement upon Iran, the EU, U.S. and other major powers, the EU and U.S. have suspended certain points in their sanctions programmes, giving relief for specific exports or transactions. Very strict time constraints apply. However, at this moment in time, the majority of the existing EU and U.S. restrictive measures remain in force.

TNT’s N° 1 Business Principle is to comply with all laws, rules and regulations and trade regulations imposed by United Nations, European Union, United States, Canada, Australia and other regulatory bodies.

Export of commodities, information and/or technology is not allowed freely to Iran. Either an appropriate license is required or a statement from the Customer that No License is Required (NLR):

   - As part of TNT’s Export Control compliance, TNT requires the below NLR Statement to be completed and signed before accepting your goods for transportation to Iran. Please place and print thisstatement on your company letterhead.

   - Alternatively, exports of licensable items must be appropriately identified by customers, who must provide us with information and all necessary documentation, including valid licenses, to comply with applicable regulations.

Additionally, please be aware that TNT does not accept items of U.S. origin for carriage to Iran from any origin in the world.
